In my final year we were asked to pick a brief supplied by the ISTD and create a printed
book piece. It was with this piece that I was accepted as a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers.
book piece. It was with this piece that I was accepted as a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers.
I took inspiration from “The Space Between” and wrote and designed a large scale A3 book about Liminal Spaces. The piece plays with scale in terms of its physical size, as well as the range of typography sizes. I RISO printed it on transparent paper to create a feeling of depth when reading the book.

As part of the ISTD submission I was to create a specification book that speaks to the graphic design choices I made during the creation of my publication.
